Nikola Kitanović was born on February 21, 1956, in Kikinda. Since 1961, he has been living in Novi Sad. He writes poetry, prose, essays, and critiques. He has published numerous books in various languages (Serbian, English, German, Swedish, Bulgarian, Czech, and others).
